Full Service Interior Design
This service is ideal for those clients who wish to update/renovate an existing residence or are in the process of building a new custom home. After initial meetings to determine project scope, budget and style preferences, an in-depth design proposal is developed. Plans documenting all design recommendations, contract labor quotes, material selections and project execution are produced and reviewed with the client for approval.
Kathy interfaces with architects, contractors and vendors to ensure the client’s design, schedule and budget requirements are met from project concept to completion. Procurement of all finish materials including carpet, flooring, countertops, lighting, plumbing, furniture and accessories is offered along with design, fabrication & installation of custom window treatments.
Done in a Day Design
For those projects that just need a day of design focus, Done in a Day Design service offers clients timely, in person access to Kathy’s design expertise and guidance. During sessions of 4 or 6 hours (which include a one hour lunch), Kathy works with the client to solve specific design objectives and improve the overall space based on their personal design vision, tastes and budget. Time shopping at local retail/trade sources can be incorporated during these sessions as well.
Following the meeting, the client receives a customized report that summarizes ideas and design solutions discussed, a simplified Design Concept, a checklist for actions to complete, a high level budget and procurement list of items specifically designed to enhance the space along with Kathy’s recommended sources.
Hourly Design Consulting
This service is available to the client who desires open-ended, hourly design consulting. The client may purchase this service on an as-needed basis. Design recommendations are documented during the consultation and provided to the client for reference.
